Lonett “Cookie” Williams is no stranger to ups, downs, highs and lows. A life of peaks and valleys. The difference is that Cookie embraces all of it recognizing that it makes her who she is. Coming through her many storms with her torch held high, she aims to share that strength with her special gift of RESILIENCE.
This single mother’s guilty plea to white-collar charges in 2012, made her path ahead clear to her. She chooses this platform as a voice for the marginalized community impacted by mass incarceration, and homelessness. She whole-heartedly embodies her mission to help returning citizens and those otherwise overcoming generational Trauma as she herself received help navigating back to her authentic self after incarceration. By sharing her team Psychotherapist, Nutritionist, Dr. Witherspoon, and herself, a certified Master Life Coach with a niche in Entrepreneurship), she hopes to succinctly bridge the gap between returning citizens and Society, (our neighbors, our loved ones). Together is the effort to combat the trauma of those battling life’s obstacles. Here she openly and willingly shares with her team a straight path for the nonprofit journey that awaits her nurturing. She has a natural gift that allows her to connect and impact those around her. It is a gift she uses every day to bridge the gap between society and our returning trauma-impacted and their families.
Cookie promises to keep an open line of communication with those incarcerated as they are welcomed on her Podcast each and every week. Cookie will continue to elevate her work in advocacy which she hopes will increase her impact on women's empowerment. She wants you to know that after her 10-year sentence, she came home, adjusted, and began to rebuild but not without her team. YOU CAN DO THIS TOO. She will help you by first giving you back your voice, using this platform. She is comforted by the many incarcerated brothers and sisters that call her just to check on her. Cookie doesn’t just talk to you, she bonds with you.
Peace and Blessings
